Terms of Service

Last updated 3 August 2026.

These terms cover use of Dottie, provided by Dottie Logistics Software LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you accept on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to do so.

What we provide

Dottie is software for freight brokerages: quoting, CRM, carrier vetting, load management and tracking. We provide the tool. We are not a freight broker, a carrier or a shipper, we do not arrange transportation, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and your customers or carriers.

Your account

Your data

Your business data is yours. You grant us only the permission needed to host and operate the service for you. We do not sell it, and we do not use one customer's data to serve another. See our Privacy Policy.

Pricing and payment

Seats are billed monthly in advance at the price shown when you signed up. Add a seat and we bill it pro rata; remove one and we credit it pro rata. Prices can change with at least 30 days' notice, and any rate we have locked for you stays locked for as long as we said it would.

Decisions are yours

Dottie shows market data, cost estimates and suggested pricing. Every number is a starting point, not an instruction. You decide what to quote, which carrier to use and what to accept. We are not liable for commercial decisions made using the software, and nothing in the product is legal, financial or insurance advice.

Third-party data

Some information comes from third parties — rate services, mapping, fuel indexes, carrier authority and safety records. We pass it through as we receive it and cannot guarantee its accuracy. Where a third-party service requires its own subscription, you bring your own.

Availability

We work to keep Dottie running and back it up, but no software is available every second. We will give notice of planned maintenance where we reasonably can.

Cancelling

Month to month. Cancel any time, effective at the end of the current period. You can export your data before you go, and we will help if you ask.

Limits of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost freight, or indirect or consequential damages.

Text messages (SMS)

Dottie sends two kinds of text messages, and only to people who have provided their mobile number for that purpose: (1) a shipment-tracking link sent to a driver after a broker books that driver's load, so the driver can share location for the load; and (2) a one-time password-reset code sent to a Dottie user who requests one in the app.

Message frequency varies by activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messages, or HELP for help. Consent to receive these messages is not a condition of any purchase. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages. Mobile phone numbers and messaging consent are never sold or shared with third parties, and mobile opt-in information is not shared with anyone for their own marketing. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle this information.
